Dr. Marx earned his undergraduate degree from Florida International University and graduated from Ross University School of Medicine in Miramar.  He completed the Bon Secours Family Medicine Residency Program at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he won both the Resident Teacher Award and Renaissance Award.

Following the completion of his VCU residency, Dr. Marx completed the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at VCU where he earned a CAQ (Certificate of Added Qualifications) and is currently Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine with a CAQ in Primary Care Sports Medicine. The combination of these two specialty areas will serve him well as part of MD Now’s physician-led team of healthcare professionals.

Dr. Marx was a market medical director for CareNow Urgent Care in Orlando and Jacksonville. He also served as medical director for the University of Miami Family Medicine Faculty Practice and was awarded the FAAFP (Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians) prior to joining MD Now.
