Dr. Peña graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. He earned his medical degree from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and completed his residency training program at HCA Florida Aventura Hospital.
While working for MD Now, Dr. Peña also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in finance from the Richard J. Fox School of Business and Management at Temple University.
Dr. Peña is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, and Phi Beta Kappa Society (Beta Chapter of Florida). He is also ALS, BLS, and DOT-certified.
