Doctor’s Urgent Care FAQs

Doctor’s urgent care clinics have become MD Now® urgent care clinics as of November 27, 2023.

As of November 27, 2023, all Doctor’s urgent care centers have transitioned to the MD Now® urgent care name. As of November 27, or afterward, you may notice the MD Now® urgent care name on your billing statement, discharge paperwork, medical records, and other materials.

Here are answers to questions you may have about the change:

Who owns MD Now® urgent care?

MD Now® urgent care is a part of HCA Healthcare. We can also connect you to our nearby HCA Florida Healthcare family of brands across the state.

Are you changing your clinic hours?

No. We’re still open seven days a week and will be open the same hours as before the transition. Please check the website for holiday hours.

Are the medical providers and other staff the same?

Yes.

How do I access my patient records?

If you were seen on or after October 1, 2023, MD Now offers the MyHealthONE patient portal to view your health history and lab results. For medical records, email mrecords@mdnow.com

If you were seen before October 1, 2023, please email records@dr-uc.com for information on how to request a copy of your medical records.

Can you send my primary care physician information about my clinic visits?

Yes.

Are your services changing?

We will offer the same general urgent care services and occupational medicine services for businesses, from employment screenings to treatment of
on-the-job injuries, however, some services may be discontinued. Please click here for more information.

Do you still take my insurance?

We accept most insurance plans. Click here for details.

Can I still check in online?

Yes. MD Now urgent care offers Web Check-In® so you can wait from anywhere–not just in our lobby. You can use Web Check-In® to save your spot in line or let us know when you’re coming, and we’ll let you know when it’s time to see a provider. Just select the clinic you want to visit on MDNOW.COM to get started.

How can I know my estimated wait time?

Web Check-In® at MD Now allows you to check in and wait from anywhere and minimize your time in the lobby. We will call or text you and let you know when to come in based on current wait times and how long it’ll take you to get to the clinic.

Can I just walk in?

Of course. Walk-ins are always welcome.

Where do I go to pay my bill?

If you have been seen at a Doctor’s urgent care clinic before October 1, 2023, please click here to access online payment. If you were seen on October 1 or afterward, please click here.

Where can I send feedback about my visit?

Please call your clinic directly or contact us here for questions or concerns about your visit.
