Although you should never use Google to diagnose yourself, people worried sick about some of the year’s biggest health topics took to the internet searching for answers. 

Here’s a look at the top search trends on WebMD for 2016:

Zika—In February, the World Health Organization declared the mosquito-borne virus to be a “public health emergency of international concern.” Most of the locally transmitted Zika cases in the continental US occurred in Florida and Brownsville, Texas, according to the Centers for Disease Control. 

Cupping—After spotting strange circles on Michael Phelps and other Olympians, people wanted to figure out what had caused them. “Cupping” is a type of Chinese massage therapy treatment that involves attaching glass or plastic cups with suction to sore muscles. 

Food Recalls—Popular foods recalled this year included Eggo waffles, Sabra hummus, Blue Bell ice cream, and Tyson chicken nuggets.
