MD Now Medical Centers, Inc. is a Wingman Sponsor for the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure in West Palm Beach, FL on Saturday, January 26th, 2013.
West Palm Beach, FL, January 22, 2013 — MD Now Urgent Care is a Wingman Sponsor of this year’s Susan G Komen Race for the Cure being held in Downtown West Palm Beach, FL. Race registration and festivities will begin as early as 5:30am with the first race beginning at 7:30am on Saturday, January 26th, 2013.
“MD Now is really looking forward to being a part of this inspirational event,” says Ruthy Bradford, MD Now Team Captain and Event Organizer. MD Now was recognized along with other corporate supporters at a recent Sponsors Reception at the Ritz Carlton Residences on Singer Island. 2013 Race Chair Michele Donahue spoke, as well as several breast cancer survivors. Miss Bradford added, “It was great to see so many local area CEOs and executive leaders come together to show their support. The survivors who shared their powerful stories were testimony that the proceeds raised by Susan G Komen for the Cure stay in our immediate service area and go directly to support the individuals battling breast cancer and their families.”
MD Now will have a sponsor tent near the starting line of the race on Flagler Drive by the Waterfront Commons. There will be games for children and adults alike, giveaways and a raffle being held for an Amazon Kindle Fire HD tablet PC. MD Now will also have a team participating in the events with staff participating in both the Team 5K Walk and the competitive 5K Runs.
