MD Now Urgent Care announced today that Jeffrey Collins, MD, has joined the company, signaling a commitment to the further growth of what is already the largest and fastest growing urgent care provider in Florida. Dr. Collins brings a wealth of urgent care experience, having served as the Chief Medical Officer for ConvenientMD, one of the largest urgent care providers in New England, 11 years as Chief of the Massachusetts General Hospital’s Urgent Care Center in Chelsea, and five years as Medical Director of the MGH Center for Community Health Improvement in Boston.

In addition to his previous positions, Dr. Collins has served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Urgent Care Foundation, as well as on the Board of Directors of the Urgent Care Association of America. He also sits on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Urgent Care Medicine, and multiple other committees for UCAOA, JCAHO, and the National Quality Forum.

Dr. Jeffrey Collins graduated cum laude from the Boston University School of Medicine and completed his residency in the Harvard Medical School Combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Residency Program.
