Dr. Peter Lamelas is Residency trained in Internal Medicine and Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABPS). Dr. Peter Lamelas has 17 years experience as Medical Director of the Emergency Department of Columbia Hospital of the Palm Beaches in West Palm Beach and total of 20 years experience in medicine. He is a long standing member of the American College of Emergency Physicians.

Dr. Lamelas is currently on staff at Bethesda Memorial Hospital, Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, Wellington Regional Medical Center, Columbia Hospital of the Palm Beaches and St. Mary's Hospital in West Palm Beach. He still pulls ER shifts at Bethesda Hospital and occasionally at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center.

In 2001, he received a Gubernatorial appointment from Florida Governor Jeb Bush to serve as one of twelve doctors on the State of Florida Board of Medicine and was elected Vice Chair.

He is certified by the State of Florida as a Workman's Comp provider and had overseen the Work Comp program at Columbia Hospital for many years. He is certified as a US Civil Surgeon to complete immigration (INS) physicals. He has completed training in Oklahoma City with the Federal Aviation Administration and is certified as an FAA Flight Medical Examiner to complete FAA flight physicals. Dr. Lamelas is fluent in English and Spanish. 

In 1993 he earned his Masters Degree in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University, and on February 5, 2005 realized a long term dream of building, owning and operating his own highest quality urgent care center. Peter Lamelas, MD, MBA and Victor Gagno, MSN, ARNP

Victor Gagno, MSN , ARNP (at right) has over 14 years experience as both a Nurse and Nurse Practitioner. Mr. Gagno was chosen by Dr. Lamelas from among the many emergency medicine clinicians with whom he has worked over the past 20 years.

Dr. Lamelas sought him out because he was impressed by Victor's well developed clinical skills, his strong medical background, and the sincere devotion he shows towards his patients and to the practice of medicine. We are very proud to have Victor Gagno on board with us as our Nurse Practitioner; he is a fine complement to our staff and our patients love him.

Mr. Gagno received his training in Emergency Medicine at Bethesda Memorial Hospital and the V.A. Medical Center. He also serves in the United States Navy as Training Officer of NH JAX Det.G.

Victor is on staff at Bethesda Memorial Hospital in the Emergency Department where he works long hours in both the Emergency Unit, Fast Track Unit and the Pediatric Emergency Unit. 

 



Dwayne Montie, D.O.

Dr. Dwayne Montie is a graduate of the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and is Board Certified in Family Medicine. He completed a residency in Family Medicine at Columbia Hospital where he served as Chief Resident and was awarded the Resident of the Year award in 2001. Dr. Montie is a member of the Florida Medical Assocation, American College of Osteopathic Family Practice, and Palm Beach County Medical Society.

Prior to medical school Dr. Montie, served as an airborne ranger in the 82nd Airborne Division and as Aide de Camp to the Commanding General, Brooke Army Medical Center.
